Year 5 Thomas's Netball Tournament

“On Saturday 12th November, the Year 5 “A” team had a netball tournament . We got off to a great start and won 7-0. Our net match was against the Harrodian and we won again, 8-0. Our third match was also a victory as we won 6-0. Falkner House were doing amazingly! Next we were up against a slightly harder school but we still won 1-0. Esther and Alicia were shooting very well! Falkner House also won the next match 1-0 and we were very tired but we kept going. Broomwood was our next school and unfortunately we lost 0-1. But we kept our heads up! Then we came to our final match in the first set. We were all moving quickly around the court and so we won 2-1. We were in the semi-finals!
Our first game in the semi-finals was against Thomas’s Clapham, the team who had arranged this event. They were a very good team and we lost 6-1. Finally, we were against the Study. We all were very eager to get third place, but we ended up losing 1-2. Falkner House had come 4th out of 16!
